NSE Expands Single Filing System — What Listed Companies Must Know 📢

Circular No. NSE/CML/2026/11 | May 04, 2026

The National Stock Exchange has further expanded its API-based Single Filing System, allowing listed entities to file once instead of separately on each exchange.

New Additions Effective May 05, 2026

- Initiation of Forensic Audit — Equity and Equity+Debt companies

- Prohibition of Insider Trading — Equity, Equity+Debt and REITs/INVITs

Other Recent Additions

- XBRL Annual Report — effective April 20, 2026

- Board Meeting Outcomes (Dividend, Buyback, Bonus, Delisting) — effective April 25, 2026

What Still Requires Dual Filing

- PDF filings under Regulations 29, 30, 34 and 39 must be filed on both exchanges

- BRSR in PDF form remains outside the single filing framework

- All events not covered above must be filed on all exchanges separately

Compliance Reminders

- Avoid duplicate submissions for covered disclosures

- Respond to whichever exchange seeks post-submission clarification

- Exclusively Debt companies and REITs/INVITs — broader coverage dates to be announced
